The Australian Government provides financial assistance (in the form of loans and subsidies) to eligible people undertaking higher education. It can cost tens of thousands of dollars to study, and for many people deferring their study fees into a loan which is paid later in the future, is the only way that many people can afford to get the qualifications they desire.

Depending on your situation you may also be eligible for financial assistance through ABSTUDY from the Department of Human Services which helps with costs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who are studying or undertaking an Australian Apprenticeship. We’ve provided some of the key websites for you to find out further information.
